PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constraining structure of a slide door for a vehicle capable of constraining a slide door, and effectively constraining movement of the slide door when a load outward of a compartment is applied to the slide door without hindrance of a normal opening/closing operation of the slide door. SOLUTION: This constraining structure of a slide door 3 for a vehicle opens/closes a door opening 10 of a vehicle body side 11 by sliding forward and backward of a vehicle. A striker 12 is arranged on a vehicle side vertical wall 11a facing to the door opening 10 so as to have a U-shaped plane seen from the lateral side of the vehicle body, and an insertion hole 31 for inserting and arranging the striker 12 in a state where the slide door 3 is closed is provided on the slide door side vertical wall 3a. A pair of notch parts 31a engageable with the striker 12 are provided on the cabin interior side of the insertion hole 31. When a load from inside of the cabin to outside of the cabin is applied to the slide door 3, the striker 12 is engaged with a notch part 31a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
