PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage facility capable of realizing energy saving performance. SOLUTION: As a power-off signal is input from a main controller 13 of a stacker crane C, a power source device 13 stops feeding high frequency current to a guide track 31. As a power-on signal is input, high frequency current is fed to the guide track 31. Whether it is the power-on or -off signal is determined based on the size of voltage applied to each motor of the stacker crane C. Action of the power source device 31 is thus either to feed or not to feed. Control of the power source device 32 is simplified. While feeding is stopped, power is not consumed from the guide track 31. Energy saving performance can thus be realized most effectively. While feeding is stopped, electricity as accumulation of regenerative energy of respective drive motors 11 and 12 of a traveling car body 2 and a lift 3 can be fed from an electric double-layer capacitor 45.
