PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper powder removing device easily removing foreign matter remaining in a paper powder removing device of a carrying roller, decreasing the frequency of exchanging of a paper powder removing means, and always keeping cleaning performance; and an image forming device equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The paper powder removing device of an image forming device has a removing member for removing paper powder articles and fiber-shaped foreign matter adhered to a carrying roller made from a pair of an upper roller and a lower roller carrying paper by sliding with the upper roller. Whenever print producing action of a predetermined number of paper is finished, the upper roller is rotated in an opposite direction to a rotating direction at the time of carrying the paper only by a predetermined angle until the paper powder articles and the fiber-shaped foreign matter freely fall.
