PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which allows a user to intuitively judge the degree of image deterioration upon setting the maximum amount of digital zoom. SOLUTION: The imaging device is provided with a digital zoom processing means 4 which applies digital zoom processing to an image photographed by an image means and an amount hypothesis display means 6 for prompting a user to select the maximum amount of digital zoom.
