The strip (1) has a liquid impermeable layer (7) connected to a fiber layer (9), and main surfaces (3, 5), where the fiber layer forms the main surface (5). The liquid-impermeable layer is connected with a glue layer (11) that forms the main surface (3). The fiber layer is in the form of mineral fiber fleece, stone fiber fleece, glass fiber fleece or plastic fiber fleece that is made from polyester fibers. The liquid-impermeable layer is formed from a material selected from a group consisting of bituminous material, polyethylene, PVC, polyisobutylene, or rubber. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a slab lining comprising a sealing strip (2) a method for manufacturing a slab lining.
