<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a control device for authenticating a user in an easy way in which impersonation can be prevented without inconvenient operation, and for preventing other user from accidentally viewing a printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: The control device 20 includes: a face position detection part 22 for detecting the position of a user's face in the pickup image of an image pickup device; a face recognition processing part 25 for collating the partial image of the pickup image at the detected position with a registration face image, and for extracting the matched registration face image; a user authentication part 26 for specifying a user name corresponding to the extracted registration face image; and a data confirmation part 27 for confirming whether or not print data added with the specified user name are received by a multifunction printer, and for, when it is confirmed that the print data are received, making the image formation part of the multifunction printer form an image based on the print data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
