<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device capable of certainly returning an intermediate plate to a neutral position. <P>SOLUTION: The brake device includes a plurality of brake disks 3, 4 attached to a rotating shaft 1 in an axially movable manner, and brakes the rotating shaft 1 by pressingly clamping the brake disks 3, 4 and the intermediate plate 5 between an armature 7 and an end plate 6. In the brake device, an open spring 14 and a stopper 15 for restricting a displacement of the open spring 14 in the direction of expansion are provided between the end plate 6 and the intermediate plate 5. When the brake is released, the intermediate plate 5 is pressed toward the armature 7 by the open spring 14 and the stopper 15 restricts the displacement of the open spring 14 in the direction of expansion, thereby returning the intermediate plate 5 to the neutral position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
