PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass lining structure where the defects on a cover coat can be monitored by visual observation. SOLUTION: In the glass lining structure where a ground coat and the cover coat are formed on a metal base material, the invented glass lining structure is constituted of at least two layers such as a cover intermediate coat where the cover coat is in contact with the ground coat and a cover surface coat formed on the cover intermediate coat. It is characterized by that the color tone of the cover surface coat is a dark color system when the color tone of the cover intermediate coat is a light color system and the color tone of the cover surface coat is a light color system when the color tone of the cover intermediate coat is a dark color system.
