PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound data processing apparatus capable of collecting sound data of a space used for identification of sound characteristics without making a user feel unpleasant. SOLUTION: The sound data processing apparatus 1 for processing the sound data includes: a sound generating section 12 which generates the test sound sensible to a user in a space; a data sampling section 4 which samples the sound of the test sound reverberating in the space as test sound data; a data recording section 8 which records the test sound data sampled by the data sampling section 4, and a data processing section 13 which processes the sound data recorded in the data recording section 8. The sound generating section 12 generates the test sound of the length at a prescribed length shorter than the length necessary for obtaining a desired gain by synchronous addition processing dividedly several times with time intervals. The data processing section 13 performs the synchronous addition processing of the test sound data recorded in the data recording section 8 while being divided into a plurality of pieces by generation of the test sound by the sound generating section 12 several times.
