PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bonded optical element having a fewer number of components, which reduces the number of process steps and prevents degradation of a hologram, and to provide an image display device including the bonded optical element, and a head mount display equipped with the image display device. SOLUTION: An adhesive layer 23b bonding an ocular prism 21 and a deflection prism 22 of the bonded optical element is configured to record a hologram 24 by incorporating a base polymer, a polymerization initiator, a polymerizable monomer and a sensitized dye into the layer. By recording the hologram 24 in the adhesive layer 23b, the number of components of the bonded optical element is decreased, which decreases the number of process steps and prevents degradation in characteristics of the hologram 24 caused by permeation of the adhesive layer or shrinkage accompanying curing of the adhesive layer.
