PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finger oximeter with a finger grip suspension system. SOLUTION: The finger oximeter has the first grip member (4) which is fixed and the second finger grip member (2), and the second finger grip member (2) is movable about the first fixed finger grip member (4). These finger grip members are mounted to a casing (22), the first grip member (4) is fixation coupled to the top of the casing (22), and the second finger grip member (2) is vertically movable within the casing (22). A force is continuously applied to the movable finger grip member (2) to bias the member toward the fixed finger grip member. This bias force has sufficient deflection: when a finger is interposed between the two finger grip members (2, 4), the movable grip member (2) is bent to the finger which enters. This bias force is uniformly distributed in the movable finger grip member (2) and makes a floating finger grip suspension system for the finger oxygen analyzer effective.
