PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine of which the whole body can be made compact by making the diameter of a shaft member smaller, and in addition, making a link mechanism smaller. SOLUTION: This sewing machine M comprises a sewing needle 7 which carries a needle thread and vertically moves, a feeding mechanism 20 for feeding a sewing object in a predetermined direction, and a feeding regulating link body 60. In this case, the feeding regulating link body 60 is equipped with two pins 67 and 68 and an outlet side link 70, and respectively turnably supports the two pins 67 and 68 in plain bearing holes 80 and 90 which are formed in a manner to penetrate on both end sections in the longitudinal direction of the outlet side link 70. Then, the feeding regulating link body 60 is arranged on the transmission path of a driving force. In the sewing machine M, on the outlet side link 70, the plain bearing holes 80 and 90 are bored, and at the same time, oil reservoir sections 81 and 91 which extend in the axial direction are installed.
