摘要

The purpose of this object is to provide a drug delivery system enabling the use of a drug which can hardly establish an effective topical concentration for various reasons or a drug which can be hardly employed because of exerting a side effect on a tissue other than the action site hitherto, being capable of continuously delivering a drug at an effective concentration to a lesion located in the body, and allowing the change or recharge of the drug. A drug delivery system comprising a medical device to be placed in the body of which the surface is coated with a biocompatible material having a target molecule and a target-recognition nanocarrier (a bionanocapsule, a liposome, a lipo preparation, a nanoparticle or the like) which has a target-recognition molecule capable of binding specifically to the target molecule as described above and has a drug encapsulated therein is provided.
