The device (1) has gear wheels (5, 6) rotatably mounted on a gear shaft (3) comprising a synchronous body (9) rotatably mounted on a gear shaft. A sliding sleeve (11) is movably arranged at outer circumference of the synchronous body in an axial direction. The sleeve has stop elements axially limiting movability of the sleeve. Two friction devices (15, 16) adjust the rotational speed of the sleeve and the gear wheels. The stop element has a ring that is arranged outside a synchronous body gear teeth and beside the synchronous body in the axial direction.
