A system and a method for performing video communication are provided to offer caller image from caller terminal before connection of video call between calling terminal and receiving terminal. A terminal(110) accesses to a server through a network, and is provided a video call service. The network(130) comprises a wire/wireless internet network, a CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO network, WCDMA network, and WiBro network etc. The server(120) provides the caller image from the calling terminal to the accepting terminal before connecting the video call between the calling terminal and accepting terminal. |
