<p>A system message notification method in a long term evolution planning system. Wherein, after the system message is changed, the network side confirms the system message update period, then informs UE of that the system message has changed within this system message update period. Wherein, the duration of the system message update period is an integer multiple of discontinuous reception DRX period, and the boundary of the system message update period is aligned with the boundary of the discontinuous reception DRX period in time domain, and the discontinuous reception DRX period is the period that the UE in the idle status receiving paging message. The present invention makes sure that each UE in the idle status should receive the paging message containing system message update information at least one time; and for the UE in the connected status, the notification times of the system message update notification information is a positive integer multiple or its reciprocal multiple of that of message paging within the same period and the same cell. That improves facilities of the network configuration.</p> |
