<p>A terminal device including a hybrid touch screen capable of various input operations by differentiating a coordinate production according to the touch input and a control method thereof are provided to perform touch input operation through two dimensional and three dimensional coordinates by calculating height coordinate through a touch controller. A touch screen(110) obtains two dimensional coordinate on a screen touch and three dimensional coordinate including height on a non-touch. A controller(126) determines a coordinate value inputted by touch and non-touch.
