PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity in image forming processing such as printing by improving operability for an image forming apparatus.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus capable of implementing authentication printing includes: a communication interface part for receiving job data; an authentication unit; an original print decision part for deciding whether or not a job related to the job data is a printing job for forming an original; an authentication print setting part for deciding whether the job related to the job data is implemented as the authentication printing based on a result of detection by the original print decision part; a user authentication part for outputting a result of authentication of a user; and a job implementing part for implementing the job.
