<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the simultaneous overlap of printed matters which are required to be printed by a plurality of different devices in a network caused by the discharge of the printed matters on a sacker. <P>SOLUTION: This printer (300) connected to a network includes a mechanical section (320) comprising a paper supply mechanism (322), a printing mechanism (324), a paper discharge mechanism (326) including a paper placing means and a paper sensor (328), a control section (310), and a storage device (314) for storing print data. The control section receives identification information and a print request from a certain information processing device (PC1) via the network, controls the mechanical section according to the received identification information and the print request, receives data according to the print request, and allows the information processing device having the identification information to exclusively use the printer until paper discharged on the paper placing means is not detected by the paper sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
