PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding part material capable of manufacturing an optical element having the desired functions with suppressing increase of a number of process steps and complication of works. SOLUTION: The molding part material is a material for manufacturing an optical element. The molding part material is equipped with a first molding part having a first surface for determining a surface shape of an optical element and a holding part held in a holding system of a processing machine which can process a back surface of an optical element uniformly with the first molding part.
