PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush for dynamo-electric machine which is excellent in conductivity and durability. SOLUTION: The brush 1 for dynamo-electric machine has a sliding main body 2 in which copper to form a sliding face is dispersed, and a conductor holder 3 which is formed at the periphery of the conductor 4 electrically connected to the sliding main body 2 and includes copper to hold the conductor 4 dispersed therein.
