COLUMN BASE FITTING FOR WOODEN BUILDING, AND METHOD FOR REINFORCING WOODEN BUILDING USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column base fitting for easily reinforcing a joint part even if wood of the joint part is degraded, and a method for reinforcing a wooden building using the column base fitting. SOLUTION: The column base fitting 4 for reinforcing the joint part between a wooden column member 3 and a sill member 2 is provided with a fitting part 42 covering the lower end of the column member 3, and a fitting part 41 fitted into a mortise 6 provided in the sill member 2. The fitting part 41 of the column base fitting 4 is inserted in the mortise 6 of the sill member 2, and the lower end of the column member 3 after cut off is inserted in the fitting part 42 of the column base fitting 4 to join the column member 3 to the sill member 2.
