PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glaze composition for glass lining which can be suitably used for manufacturing a glass-lined apparatus being free from the elusion of a sodium component. SOLUTION: A frit constituting the glaze composition for glass lining contains 64-74 mass% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 4-16 mass% ZrO<SB>2</SB>, 10-22 mass% R<SB>2</SB>O (wherein, R is Li, K or Cs), 1-6 mass% P<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>and 3-14 mass% R'O (wherein, R' is Mg, Ca, Sr or Ba) as main components and is free of Na<SB>2</SB>O.
