PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side body structure capable of reducing the number of parts and reducing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: Roof side rails 7 extending to the fore-and-aft direction of a vehicle are provided at right and left ends of a vehicle roof, and a roof side inner panel 10 positioned inside a cabin is provided on the roof side panels 7. A hole 14 for a welding operation for inserting a welding tool 13 to weld and joint a plurality of panels 16, 17, 18 positioned at an upper part of the roof side inner panel 10 is formed at the roof side inner panel 10.
