An exercise apparatus adapting individual physical ability and control me thod thereof are provided, wherein the control method including the followin g steps: determining if it is an automatism mode according to a pattern sele ction order after setting the message parameter of an individual physiology condition, reading an exercise course according to a course selection order received at the automatism mode, producing a control order controlling an ac tion of the exercise apparatus according to the message parameter of the ind ividual physiology condition and the exercise course.
