<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact, lightweight, easy-to-carry, low-noise, low-vibration and reliable dehumidifier with less power consumption, capable of variable speed operation. <P>SOLUTION: The dehumidifier accommodates a condenser and an evaporator which constitute a refrigerating cycle in an identical body thereof, and the body of the dehumidifier has: a converter circuit which converts an AC voltage into a DC voltage; an inverter circuit which converts the DC voltage obtained through the converter circuit into an AC voltage with an arbitrary voltage, frequency and phase; a control circuit which controls the values of the voltage, frequency and phase generated by the inverter circuit; and a compressor equipped with a DC brushless motor which is driven by the voltage, frequency and phase controlled by the control circuit and outputted from the inverter circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
