<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of attaining device cooperation without allowing dependence between devices, and of improving the convenience of the device cooperation. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes modules 241 and 242 which acquire, from a digital recorder 220 connected thereto through a home network 22, process information for a process to be executed by the digital recorder and/or a result of a process executed thereby and service definition information for a function which the digital recorder can execute in cooperation with a television receiver 200; a module 243 which displays the process information of the digital recorder together with program information for one or more program contents, and displays one or more functions the digital recorder can execute, for the program contents, based on the service definition information; and a module 244 which makes the digital recorder execute, for a program content selected from the one or more program contents, a function selected from the one or more function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
