PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device capable of preventing seizure in a retainer even when a small amount of lubricating oil is present, and thus capable of preventing the lubricating oil from being wasted. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing device comprises an inner ring 2, an outer ring 3, a rolling body 4 rolling between inner and outer ring raceway surfaces 2a, 3a. and the retainer 5 having a plurality of pockets 5c retaining a pair of annular parts 5a, a pillar part 5b and the rolling body 4, and having a surface 5d to be guided which is slidably abutted on a guiding surface 3c of the outer ring 3 to guide the rotation. The lubricating oil is supplied into an radial gap between the retainer 5 and the inner ring 2. An inclined surface 5e1 having a mountain-shaped cross section is continuously formed on an inner peripheral surface 5e of the annular part 5a constituting the surface 5d to be guided of the retainer 5 throughout the entire periphery for causing the lubricating oil supplied into the inner peripheral surface 5e to flow toward a part corresponding to a circumferential center of each pocket 5c of the inner peripheral surface 5e by centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the retainer 5.
