PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an electronic apparatus connected to a first network without executing protocol conversion independently of whether it is possible or not to connect to the first network by a first communication means. SOLUTION: A communication terminal apparatus is provided with: a radio LAN communication I/F 15 for performing communication by connecting an intra-home LAN 2; a 3G communication I/F 17 for communicating with an HGW 21 by connecting a 3G network; a DMP control part 13 for transmitting multicast for detecting a DLNA apparatus 107 to the intra-home LAN 2 and deciding whether it is possible or not to connect to the intra-home LAN 2 by the radio LAN communication I/F 15; and a terminal side PPP connection control part 14 for performing PPP connection with the HGW 21 by the 3G communication I/F 17 and transmitting the multicast to the DMP control part 13 by the PPP connection when the DMP control part 13 decides that it is impossible to connect to the first network by the radio LAN communication I/F 15.
