PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the heat resistance of carcass cords, and to improve run-flat durability. SOLUTION: The run-flat tire is composed of a carcass comprising a carcass ply having carcass cords covered with topping rubber. The topping rubber is formed of a rubber component containing natural rubber and/or isoprene rubber and at least two kinds of synthetic rubber selected from a group composed of styrene-butadiene rubber and modified styrene-butadiene rubber, at least a kind of compound selected from a group composed of sulfur, cresol resin, a resorcinol condensation product and a modified resorcinol condensation product, and a rubber composition containing (D)hexamethylenetetramine.
