[PROBLEMS] To provide a fluororubber composition which does not suffer from the blooming in extrusion of talc contained in a heat-and cold-resistant and colorable fluororubber and can give products having functions equivalent to those of conventional mass-produced materials and which makes it possible to reduce remarkably the rejection rate in preparing green stock; and a process for production of crosslinked fluororubber. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A composition which comprises as the essential components a fluororubber consisting of a peroxide-vulcanizable fluoropolymer, a peroxide-type crosslinking agent, and a heat-resistant filler consisting of calcined talc having a hydrophilic surface, characterized in that the content of the calcined talc is 2 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the fluoropolymer and that the peroxide-vulcanizable fluoropolymer is preferably a low-temperature type ternary fluoropolymer having a TR10 value of-40 to-25°C, still preferably a vinylidene fluoride/perfluoro(methyl vinyl ether)/tetrafluoroethylene terpolymer.
