METHOD FOR CALCULATING SHAPE AND APPEARANCE USING CUT-CELL IN A CARTESIAN GRID AND COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM THEREFOR

A method for calculating a shape by using a cut cell in an orthogonal grid system and a computer readable recording medium recording a program for the method are provided to perform flow analysis by using size and volume of a mold divided by a cell while easily and quickly generating a grid through the orthogonal grid system, thereby improving accuracy of flow analysis. A controller produces a grid of an orthogonal grid system about a product shape(S210). The controller couples a volume with a continuous equation by using a value of volume of a mold in each cell of the generated grid(S220). The controller couples the size by a momentum equation by using a size value of the mold contacted with each axis direction surface of the cell. The controller performs simulation about solute and flow processes through an analysis result of a governing equation(S240).
