<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an uninterruptible power supply device, which can change the setting of the uninterruptible power supply device just by rewriting a configuration file on each server via a network. <P>SOLUTION: Power is supplied to a server 1, which is an apparatus to which power is to be supplied, from an uninterruptible power supply device 2 via a power cable 3, and is directly connected to the uninterruptible power supply device 2 by a communication cable 5. The uninterruptible power supply device 2 is equipped with a chargeable auxiliary power supply device such as, for example, a storage battery, and a voltage abnormality detecting means for monitoring the voltage value of a commercial power supply which is a main power supply, and is connected to the external commercial power supply by a feed cable 4. The server 1 is equipped with a UPS management program for performing communication control with respect to the uninterruptible power supply device 2, and a UPS configuration file for holding setting data independently of the UPS management program, and changes the setting of the operation parameters of the uninterruptible power supply device 2 by using the UPS management program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
