PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio device which can easily set or modify the release conditions of a function for preventing wrong operation. SOLUTION: A radio device 100 is equipped with an emergency function for transmitting emergency call information by radio and a function for preventing wrong operation of the emergency function. The radio device 100 includes a section 4 for storing a table T defining a plurality of conditions for releasing the function for preventing wrong operation, and a control section 3 for selecting one of the plurality of release conditions defined on the table T, releasing the function for preventing wrong operation according to the release conditions thus selected and operating the emergency function.
