PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blower capable of attaining air amount-static pressure characteristic with high accuracy in which the variation amount of the air amount is extremely small even if the static pressure such as pressure loss is varied, increasing the amount of feeding air when an atmospheric temperature is high and reducing the amount of feeding air when it is low. SOLUTION: Since a correlation instruction means 13 linearly varies a current relative to a reference current value according to an output voltage and feeds the current according to the rotation speed, in the rotation speed-torque characteristic of a motor, shaft torque becomes large as the rotation speed is raised, and the air blower 10 becomes an air amount-static pressure characteristic in which the air amount is not largely varied even if the pressure loss is varied. Further, the reference current value is changed according to the temperature detected by a temperature correction means, the shaft torque becomes high when the detected temperature is higher than a reference temperature, and the shaft torque becomes lower when the detected temperature is low. In the air blower 10, the air amount is increased when the atmospheric temperature is high as in summer, and the air amount-static pressure characteristic in which the air amount is reduced is obtained when the atmospheric temperature is low as in winter.
