PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device of powder and granular material capable of changing the conveying direction while reducing scattering or pulverization thereof even when the powder and granular material is lightweight and brittle. SOLUTION: The conveying device of powder and granular material has a shifting chute (6) arranged between a terminating end of an upstream side conveyor (2) and a downstream side conveyor (4). The shifting chute (6) includes a guide wall (12) extending in its longitudinal direction. The guide wall (12) has an inner wall surface (14) forming a recessed arc shape in its transverse section. Associated air flow attributable to the discharge of the powder and granular material from the terminating end of the upstream side conveyor (2) is generated into a swirling air current (C). The powder and granular material sprung from the shifting chute (6) is taken into the air current (C) to form a swirling material flow (D) for preventing scattering of the powder and granular material.
