PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an accurate lane deviation alarm device by white line detection by a video camera. SOLUTION: This lane deviation alarm device is configured to measure road transverse direction distance, between a vehicle side edge ground part and a while line drawn on a road from the photographic image of a video camera installed on the vehicle side edge, and to determine, when the distance of the measurement result is equal to or less than a fixed value, that there is a risk that the vehicle is traveling, approaching too close to the white, and there is a possibility of lane deviation; and to determine, when the distance of the measurement result is within the fixed range and the inclination of the vehicle traveling direction to the white line is a fixed value or more in a direction approaching the white line, that there is a risk of lane deviation, after the vehicle keeps traveling if traveling is continued in this state.
