PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glove box structure of an automobile capable of preventing the generation of abnormal sounds from an air damper during the rotation of a glove box in a full opening direction while interposing the air damper for applying moderate resistance to the rotation of the glove box in the full opening direction between an instrument panel and the glove box. SOLUTION: A rotatable angle of the glove box 20 from a position in a full closing state to a position where right and left stoppers 26L and 26R abut on stoppers 13L and 13R of the instrument panel 10 side is set smaller at the side surface 23L side of the left side equipped with the air damper than at the other side surface 23R side, and the stopper 26L of the side surface 23L side equipped with the air damper abuts on the stopper 13L of the instrument panel 10 side earlier than the stopper 26R of the other side surface 23R side abuts thereon.
