PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective film excellent in roll winding shape, and also excellent in suitability for a rolling and laminating process. SOLUTION: This polyolefin film for surface protection is of the following layer structure: at least, three layers, i.e. polyolefin layers A, B and C are laminated in the order of A/B/C, and the layer A is formed of a biaxially orientated polypropylene. In addition, the average roughness Ra of the surface centerline of the layer A, is 0.05 to 0.5μm, and the layer thickness of the resin layer B is 0.2 to 2μm, and the melting point of the resin making up the layer B is 100 to 140°C.
