The device (1) has a memory device (6) storing image and/or video data, where the device (1) is connected to a display device (7) i.e. TV, and is designed and formed such that images/videos corresponding to image and/or video data are displayable at the display device. A graphic user interface is displayed under control of the device (1) at the display device, where displaying of the images/videos is controlled by using the interface and the device is connected to a memory (3) e.g. digital image and/or video memory card, removable from a camera i.e. digital camera. An independent claim is also included for a data communication method for operating an image and/or video data communication system.
