An electrical connector and a liquid crystal display device are provided to secure a good contact state by preventing the contact slip between a terminal and a pair of elastic pieces. A supporting plate(41) is extended toward an opposite direction(A2) to an attaching direction(A1) through an elastic deformation available part from a fixing plate. One end of the supporting plate is fixed/supported by the fixing plate through the elastic deformation available part. A groove part(48) consists of the supporting plate and a pair of side plates. A concave part(51) receives a terminal(10) inserted between the first elastic piece(44) and the second elastic piece(45).
