A DEEP SEA WATER FROM KOREAN EAST SEA FOR PREVENTING CANCER AND A COMPOSITION OF FOOD OR PHARMACEUTICALS CONTAINING THE SAME

Ocean deep seawater from The East Sea of Korea with cancer-preventive effects and a food or pharmaceutical compositions containing the same are provided to suppress the activity of cytochrome P450 1A2 and ornithine decarboxylase, which are enzymes related to carcinogenesis. Ocean deep seawater from The East Sea of Korea is collected from the bottom of the sea and desalted and concentrated. Minerals are added to the concentrated deep seawater so that the hardness is adjusted from 0 to 1,000. The ocean deep seawater shows cancer preventive effects by suppressing the activities of cytochrome P450 1A2 and ornithine decarboxylase. A method for preparing ocean deep seawater with cancer-preventive effects comprises the following steps of: preparing a sample of ocean deep seawater; desalting and concentrating the ocean deep seawater; and adding minerals to the desalted ocean deep seawater and obtaining the ocean deep seawater with various kinds of hardness.
