<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recommendation providing server capable of displaying a Web page including recommendation on the screen of a portable telephone without demanding a high programming skill from the content manager of the Web page. <P>SOLUTION: The content manager uploads an HTML file in which the connection destination of a recommendation database API for acquiring recommendation and a tag for specifying query information necessary for acquiring information are described to a Web server. When a Web server receives an HTTP request from the portable telephone, the recommendation module of the Web server reads the tag, and acquires the recommendation to be displayed in the Web page from a recommendation database API designated by the tag, and embeds the recommendation in the HTML file as ADD information.
