PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen a choice range of an image forming operation for carrying out jobs to improve handleability. SOLUTION: The image forming device 1 comprises: an image forming section 43 for carrying out the image forming operation based on the image forming condition (sheet size, type of paper, image forming face or the like) set in the job to generate an output article; a special mode selection screen G1 for accepting the selection instruction of a second mode (a half face division mode, a size division mode, a paper type division mode) to generate an output article same as the output article generated in the first mode at the image forming operation different from the first mode (a double side mode, a size mixed mode, a paper type mixed mode) as the image forming operation to generate an output article on the image forming condition set in the job; and a control unit 110 for allowing the image forming section to divide the image forming operation into a plurality of operations based on the image forming condition of the job and to carry out the image forming operation in a divided job unit to generate an output article, when the selection instruction of the second mode is accepted.
