PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack for electronic equipment, which can be improved in user-friendliness, operability, safety, etc., by elevating a unit without detaching it from a housing. SOLUTION: The rack 1 for the electronic equipment includes: the housing in which units 201 and 202 are arranged in stages and which has a rack frame 11; a fixing tool fitted to the rack frame in a detachable and vertically-movable state to fix the units to the rack frame; and an elevating means in which the fixed state is released to the rack frame, which moves up and down the fixing tool in the vertically-movable state to move up and down the units.
