PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil which can be made compact and ensure reliability by suppressing an amount of resin to be put into a case. SOLUTION: The coil 100 is provided with a case 1, a winding bobbin 2, output pins 3a and 3b, an electric wire 4 for winding, and an epoxy resin portion 5. The case 1 has projecting portions 17a and 17b projecting to its inside, and it is open to its upper side. The winding bobbin 2 is housed inside the case 1. The output pins 3a and 3b are provided above the winding bobbin 2. The electric wire 4 for winding is provided with a coil portion 4a wound around the winding bobbin 2 and a pin winding portion 4b fixed to the output pins. The epoxy resin portion 5 is put in the case 1 in a manner to cover the coil portion 4a. A clearance 12 of which at least a part is filled with the epoxy resin portion 5 is formed between the output pins 3a and 3b and the pin winding portion 4b, and the projecting portions 17a and 17b.
