PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide self-propelled equipment which can perform stable traveling with reduced wheel ruts in repetitive traveling within the same traveling space. SOLUTION: The self-propelled equipment comprises a movement means 102 for moving an equipment body 100; a control means 101 for the equipment body 100; a battery 104; and an obstacle detection means 103 for detecting an obstacle. The control means 101 automatically switches, when moving the equipment body 100 along wall surfaces, the traveling content for every movement so as to move it along the wall surfaces. Accordingly, repetitive traveling in the same place can be prevented by the automatic switching to reduce wheel ruts caused by the traveling of the self-propelled equipment. Consequently, early deterioration of a part of the ground or a floor surface by rutting can be prevented, and stable traveling can be attained without deterioration of the appearance by the ruts or acceleration of the maintenance.
