PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for feeding power to actuators associated with undercarriages constituting a landing gear of an aircraft. SOLUTION: The method is a method for feeding energy to actuators (3, 73) associated with undercarriages forming a landing gear of an aircraft. The aircraft comprises a main power supply part (100) that operates independently of rotation of wheels carried by the landing gear, and local power supply parts (26, 90) comprising one or more local generators (20, 35, and 150), each driven by rotation of a wheel carried by an undercarriage. The method includes the following steps, that is, the step of feeding power to the actuators by the local power supply parts in a nominal mode of operation, and the step of feeding additional energy or all of the energy, required by the actuators, by the main power supply part when the supply of energy by the local power supply parts is not sufficient in an additional mode of operation.
