PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel for information display adapted to obtain desired display performance by optimizing a thickness of linear electrodes used in a dot matrix type passive driving system based on the mean particle diameter of particles constituting a display medium. SOLUTION: The panel for information display includes sealing the display medium 3 composed of two kinds of particle groups 3W, 3B constituted by including particles having optical reflectivity, and chargeability into a cell formed by partitions 4 between substrates 1, 2, applying an electric field to the display medium 3 from paired electrodes formed by crossing of the linear electrodes 5, 6 respectively disposed at the two substrate, and displaying information, such as an image. by transferring the display medium 3. A thickness Et of the linear electrodes 5, 6 is set at a thickness below the mean particle diameter D1 which is smaller than the mean particle diameter of the particle group 3W or the particle group 3B and over 5 nm.
