PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve device capable of facilitating maintenance of a unitized check valve. SOLUTION: The check valve device includes a main body including primary and secondary side connecting ports in the horizontal direction and forming a valve chamber inside the secondary side connecting port in the vertical direction with the upper end of the valve chamber opened, a check valve unit including a ball valve element removably incorporated in the valve chamber, a sealing lid attached to/detached from the opening, and a joint integrally connecting the lid to the check valve unit in the vertical direction. The check valve unit comprises a cylindrical basket securing a flow passage on a side face, and a valve seat provided at a lower face of the basket. The ball valve element is stored inside the basket. Preferably, the joint separably connects the lid to the basket of the check valve unit. The joint is screwed to a lower part of the lid while being locked with the upper end of the check valve unit in a cap nut shape, and is integrally configured of a nut that can be screwed to a male screw of the lid at the upper end of the basket of the check valve unit.
